Learning to say

"I Love You" 

 

I learned to say, “I love you Anastasia”

after reading Matt Kahn’s book

“whatever Arises, Love That!”

It took awhile,

and eventually

my heart began to speak,

ever so gently,

and this is what she said,

 

“There’s nothing wrong with me,

nothing bad about me,

nothing that needs to be fixed or healed.

I am Pure.

Pure love in form.

Pure Consciousness.”

 

This song is my recognition

of who I really am,

and a response

to the incapacitating guilt

and shame

my shared

culture offers.

 

I opt out of guilt,

shame, and believing

there are some parts of my being

that are unacceptable,

broken, and need fixing.

 

I opt in to the

Truth of my pure essence in joy!

My Humanity. My Divinity.

I hope you will, too.
