really,

just erupted

from my heart
like a multi-faceted prism. 

They came as a poignant
calm in the storm; 

undeniable, 

not open for discussion

or interpretation. 

Suddenly, they arrived. 

Some came in pieces
over time

though the essence was there

from the inception. 

During their formation
I literally saw stories unfold, 

and light emanate from them
like lightening bursting
throughout the heavens 

of our shared world. 

I saw tears, streaming shared tears,

And triumphs, shining triumphs. 

These are songs of nourishment. 

Simple, distilled, potent, and carefree.
